Social/Emotional Student Support


WNESU will be exploring Social Emotional Universal Screeners during the 2023-2024 school year in
order to implement them in future years. Social/emotional/behavioral data is kept at each school via the
SWIS or Maxient systems. Our district also uses the Panorama system to help identify students who may
be in need of targeted or intensive social/emotional or school attendance support. Student, family and
staff surveys through Panorama are also used to inform school and district wide improvement efforts.
When appropriate, Restorative Practices will be used to address harm in the learning environment.
