Windham Northeast Supervisory Union (WNESU) provides centralized services, coordination, and leadership to support our member districts. By managing key operational and student support functions, we enable schools to focus on education and student success.

How We Support Our Schools

  • Early Education – Expanding access to quality early learning opportunities.

  • Student Services – Providing special education, 504 plan administration, English language learner instruction, and multi-tiered student support.

  • Business & Finance – Overseeing budgets, grants, and financial operations.

  • Transportation – Ensuring safe and reliable student transportation.

  • Nutrition Services – Providing healthy school meals and promoting wellness.

  • Technology & Data Services – Supporting digital learning, IT infrastructure, and data systems.

  • Curriculum & Instruction – Leading educational programs, professional development, and instructional support.

  • District Leadership – The Superintendent’s Office oversees all school services and collaborates with school boards to align operations with district goals.

Our Member Districts

WNESU serves four school districts: Westminster School District, Windham Northeast Union Elementary School District (also known as Athens/Grafton School District), Rockingham School District, and Bellows Falls Union High School District #27. Together, we support more than 350 employees and 1,000 students.

EVERY student in the Windham Northeast Supervisory Union will become a self-directed learner and creative problem-solver, allowing each student to reach full potential with the capacity to choose from multiple pathways of success. This will happen IF all school staff collaborate with family and community members to equitably increase engagement, learning, and personal growth.
