Annual Required Training – 2025–2026
Overview
All WNESU employees are required to complete annual training as part of our commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and legally compliant working environment. This training includes two components: one hosted on our internal Google Site and another delivered through Infosec IQ. Both components are mandatory.
Part 1: District-Specific Training (Google Site)
All staff must review a series of district-mandated topics posted on the internal Annual Training Google Site. These include FERPA and confidentiality, Rule 4500 (Restraint and Seclusion), Hazing/Harassment/Bullying (HHB), Title IX, Act One, mandated reporting, universal precautions, drug-free schools, signs of housing insecurity, and life-threatening conditions.
After reviewing the content, you must complete the Annual Training Quiz linked at the bottom of the site. A score of 80% or higher is required to pass. You may take the quiz as many times as necessary and must use your WNESU email address. You will also be asked to confirm your name and primary work location during the quiz.
Important: This site does not meet digital accessibility standards. If you are unable to access the content or need alternate formats, please contact your supervisor or Human Resources at hr@wnesu.com.
Part 2: Cybersecurity and Confidentiality Training (Infosec IQ)
All staff will also complete role-specific training through Infosec IQ, our compliance and cybersecurity training platform. Topics may include phishing awareness, responsible technology use, student data protection, confidentiality, and FERPA. The assigned modules are tailored based on your position in the district.
Infosec IQ training will be released beginning the week of August 11, 2025, and must be completed no later than September 15, 2025. You will receive an email when your assigned training becomes available. Completion is tracked automatically, and no certificate submission is required.
If you believe you received the incorrect modules, please notify the Tech Department at helpdesk@wnesu.com.
