Windham Northeast Supervisory Union - 07-08 Rockingham Bus Routes

The bus will start the route at 6:50 A.M. at the intersection of Alden Rd., O’Brien Rd., and Lower Parker Hill Rd. The bus will pick up all elementary, middle school and high school students on one trip. The bus the proceeds out Lower Parker Hill Rd., Lawrence Rd., Parker Hill Rd., O’Brien Rd., and Alden Hill Rd., and arrives back on Route # 5 at 7:05 A.M. The bus will then travel north on Route # 5 where it will turn around at the Hit or Miss Gun Club. The bus then travels south again on Route # 5 to Randall Hill Rd. where it will go up Randall Hill Rd. and turn around at the town line at 7:10 A.M. The bus will then return to Route # 5 where it will again travel south, picking up students along the way as far as the intersection of Route # 103. The bus will continue south on Route # 5 and will make a right turn onto Darby Hill Rd. The bus will turn around at the end of Darby Hill Rd. at 7:25 A.M. The bus then returns to Route # 5 and heads south into Bellows Falls Village where it will make a stop at the Greater Falls Pharmacy to pick up high school students needing a ride to BFUHS. The bus then stops at BFMS at 7:30 A.M., at Central Elementary (George St. entrance), and at BFUHS at 7:45 A.M.

The first stop for bus # 8 will be at the Rockingham Veterinary Clinic in Lower Bartonsville at 6:50 A.M. The bus will pick up Central Elementary School students, middle school and high school students on the same trip, as it proceeds proceeds along the Lower Bartonsville Rd. to Route # 103, where it makes a right turn onto Route # 103 and travels north to the Chester General Store (if needed) where it will turn around 7:05 A.M. and heads south again. Bus # 8 will make a right turn onto the Upper Bartonsville Rd and travels out that road as far as Overpass Rd. where it will turn around at 7:10 A.M. and head back to Route # 103. The bus will travel south on Route # 103 and meet Bus # 11 at the Vermont Country Store at 7:20 A.M. to exchange students. At 7:25 A.M. the bus will turn onto Meetinghouse Rd., continue back onto Route # 103 to Route # 5, picking up students along the way. Upon entering Bellows Falls Village the bus will make a right turn onto Meadow Lane to Pond Rd. and turn around at Crotty Dr. at 7:35 A.M. The bus then arrives at BFMS at 7:40 A.M., Central Elementary (George St. Entrance) at 7:45 and picks up high school students at the Superintendents Office at 7:47 A.M. and arrives at BFUHS at 7:52 A.M. Saxton River Elementary School students will be picked up at a later time by Bus # 11.

The bus leaves BFUHS to pick up elementary, middle and high school students. The bus travels west on Route # 121 toward the Village of Saxtons River where it will make a right turn onto Halls Bridge Rd. The bus turns around at the end of Halls bridge Rd. at 6:55 A.M. and then heads back to Route # 121 where it will travel toward Saxtons River Village and the out the Westminster West Rd. and turn around at the intersection of Hitchcock Hill. The bus then leaves Saxtons River Village at 7:10 A.M. and travels into Bellows Falls, making a stop at Barbers Park Bridge and anywhere else along Route # 121 where there are students needing a ride to Bellows Falls. The bus then travels up Griswold Drive, Pearce Circle and around Reese Circle, making one stop at the intersection of Reese Circle, Pearce Circle and Victoria Drive (by the Hodsden Residence) at 7:25 A.M. The bus then drops students off at BFMS at 7:35 A.M., Central Elementary School at 7:40 A.M. and at BFUHS at 7:40 A.M. The bus then returns to Bellows Falls Village where it will make a stop at the intersection of Route # 5 and Barker St. (by the old Gays Fuel, presently Lawrence Electric) at 7:45 A.M., a stop at McGirrs and arrives at Central Elementary (George St. entrance) at 7:50 A.M. to pick up students needing a ride to Saxtons River Elementary School. The bus arrives in Saxtons River at 8:05 A.M.

The first stop, picking up middle school and high school students only, is in Cambridgeport at the end of Aucheson Hollow Rd at 7:00 A.M. The bus turns around at the end of Aucheson Hollow Rd. and heads back into Cambridgeport where it makes a right turn onto Route # 121 and picks up students in the village. The bus turns around at CIC at 7:05 A.M. and heads east on Route # 121 making stops along the way to pick up students. The bus will turn left onto Cory Hill Rd. and then left onto Weston Heights Rd. where it will turn around at the end of the Rd. The bus returns to Cory Hill Rd. where it turns left and then at the intersection of Pleasant Valley Rd. it turns right, picking up students from that intersection into Saxtons River Village. The bus will then make stops at the Saxtons River Market and at the intersection of Oak St. and Route # 121 and then travel directly into Bellows Falls Village, non-stop (Bus # 9 will pick up students between Oak St. and Bellows Falls Village). The bus arrives at BFMS at 7:30 A.M. and at BFUHS at 7:35 A.M.

Bus # 3 then returns to Cambridgeport to start picking up elementary school students attending Saxtons River Elementary School. The bus will turn around at the end of Aucheson Hollow Rd. at 7:55 A.M. and then into the Village of Cambridgeport, turning around at CIC at 8:00 A.M. The bus then heads east on Route # 121 picking up students along the way. The bus turns left onto Cory Hill Rd. and then makes another left turn onto Weston Heights Rd where it will turn around at the end of the Rd. at 8:10 A.M. The bus then returns to Cory Hill Rd. where it will make a left turn and then a right turn onto the Pleasant Valley rd., arriving at the Saxtons River Elementary School at 8:15 A.M.

The bus will start picking up high school and middle school students and any students attending Central Elementary School, north of the intersection of Cory Hill Rd. and the Pleasant Valley Rd. at 6:55 A.M. The bus continues out the Pleasant Valley Rd. and then makes a left turn onto Route # 103 and then a right turn onto Brockway Mills Rd. The bus turns around at the intersection of Brockway Mills Rd. and Tuttle Rd. (Cenate Farm) at 7:10 A.M. The bus then picks up ALL students on Brockway Mills Rd (Kindergarten thru grade 12) and returns to Route # 103 where it will make a left turn onto Route # 103 and travel south to meet Bus # 8 at the Vermont Country Store at 7:20 A.M. to exchange students.

Bus # 11 will start picking up Saxtons River elementary students only at the intersection of Green Mtn. Parkway, Pleasant Valley Rd. and Lower Bartonsville Rd. in Lower Bartonsville at 7:35 A.M. The bus will travel toward Route # 103 where it will make a right turn onto Route # 103 and travel north as far as the Chester General Store where it will turn around and head south on Route # 103. At the intersection of Route # 103 & Upper Bartonsville Rd the bus will turn right and travel out the Cambridgeport Road to Overpass Rd. picking up Saxtons River Elementary School students only. At Overpass Rd. the bus turns around and travels back over the cambridgeport Rd. to Town Farm Rd. where it turns right and then right again onto Route # 103 and heads south. At 7:55 A.M. the bus will turn onto the Pleasant Valley Rd. picking up Saxtons River Elementary School students only enroute to Saxtons River Elementary School, arriving there at 8:10 A.M.

Bus # 4 will leave BFUHS at 2:50 P.M and goes directly to the George St. entrance of Central Elementary School, from there it goes to BFMS and then at the end of School St. makes a right turn onto Atkinson St. and stops at the Greater Falls Pharmacy to discharge high school students. The bus travels north on Route # 5 out of Bellows Falls where it will make a left turn and travel up Darby Hill to the end of the road and turn around. Once the bus is back on Route # 5 it will travel north, making it’s first stop on the Missing Link Rd. The bus travels north on the Missing Link Rd., dropping off students along the way and turns around at the Hit or Miss gun club. The bus then travels south on Route # 5 (Missing Link Rd.) and turns right onto Randall Hill where it will turn around at the Rockingham/Springfield town lines. The bus then travels south on Route # 5 to Alden Rd. where it turns right and travels up Alden Rd. to Lower Parker Hill Rd, Lawrence Rd. Parker Hill Rd. O’Brien Rd. to Alden Rd. and back to Route # 5.

Bus # 8 leaves BFUHS at 2:50 P.M. and travels into Bellows Falls Village and up Atkinson St., making one stop just past Fleming’s Shell Station. The bus ten travels to the George St. entrance of Central Elementary School to pick up students, then to BFMS. The bus then travels down to Green St. to Route # 5 north. The bus then makes a left turn onto Meadow Lane to Pond Rd. and turns around at Crotty Drive. The bus then travels north on Route # 5, making stops as needed along the way to Route # 103. The bus will travel out Meetinghouse Rd. and then back onto Route # 103 north to the Brockway Mills Rd where it travel up the Brockway Mills Rd. to Tuttle Rd. and turns around. The bus then travels north again on Route # 103 and makes a left turn onto Town farm Rd. and meets Bus # 11. All students going further north on Route # 103 and out the Cambridgeport Rd. will transfer to Bus # 11. All students on Bus # 11 living in Lower Bartonsville will transfer from Bus # 11 to Bus # 8.

Bus # 11 leaves BFUHS at 2:50 P.M. and travels directly to BFMS. The bus leaves BFMS and travels non-stop to the Saxtons River Elementary School to pick up students living on the Pleasant Valley Rd., Route # 103 and the Cambridgeport Rd. The bus will travel out the Pleasant Valley Rd. making stops as needed. At the intersection of Route # 103 the bus will travel north to the Town Farm rd. where it turns left and meets Bus # 8. All Students living in Lower Bartonsville will transfer from Bus # 11 to Bus # 8. All students living north on Route # 103 and on the Cambridgeport Rd. will transfer from Bus # 8 to Bus # 11.

Bus # 3 leaves BFUHS 2:50 P.M. with all students living west of Saxtons River Village, to include Athens and Grafton students, and students stopping at Oak St. in Saxons River and at the Saxtons River Market. The bus then travels directly to BFMS to pick up students stopping at Oak St. in Saxtons River, at the Saxtons River Market, West of Saxtons River Village, to include Athens and Grafton students. The bus then travels directly to the Saxtons River Elementary School to pick up students living on Cory Hill Rd, Weston Heights, Route # 121, Cambridgeport Village and Aucheson Hollow Rd. Upon leaving Saxtons River Elementary School the bus travels out the Pleasant Valley Rd. and makes a left turn onto Cory Hill Rd., then a right onto Weston Heights Rd. and turns around at the end of the Rd. When the bus returns to the Cory Hill Rd. it makes a right turn and travel to Route # 121. At Route # 121 the bus turns right and travels to CIC in Cambridgeport, making stops along the way as needed. At CIC all Athens and Grafton students transfer to their respective buses. The bus then travels up the Aucheson Hollow Rd. and turns around at the end of the Rd.

Bus # 9 leaves BFUHS at 2:50 P.M. (includes Griswold Dr. students) and goes directly to BFMS to pick up students (includes Griswold Dr. students) and then picks up students at the George St. entrance of Central Elementary School, to include Griswold Dr. students. The bus leaves Central Elementary School and travels up Griswold Drive, Pearce Circle and Reese Circle and then heads to Route # 121. The bus stops along Route # 121 between North Westminster and Edgebrook Park. The bus picks up students at the Saxtons River Elementary School and upon leaving the school the bus travel out the Westminster West Rd. to the intersection of Hitchcock Hill where it will turn around. The bus then travels back through Saxtons River Village and heads east on Route # 121. The bus will travel up Halls Bridge Rd and turn around at the end of the Rd. and then head back to Route # 121. Any Saxtons River Elementary School students living east of the school or needing a ride to Bellows Falls Village will ride Bus # 9. The bus will make three stops in Bellows Falls Village, at the driveway to McGirrs Nursing Home and at the School St. Ext. entrance of Central Elementary School and at the Old Gays Fuel ( Lawrence Electric ) at the intersection of Route # 5 and barker St.

Bus # 11 leaves BFMS at 4:10 P.M. and goes directly to BFUHS where it transfers middle school students to Bus # 10 as necessary, students traveling west on Route # 121 to Cambridgeport Village will ride bus # 10. Bus # 11 leaves BFUHS at 4:20 P.M. and goes north on Route # 5 into Bellows Falls Village, up Atkinson St., turns right onto the Missing Link Rd. and goes as far as the Hit or Miss Gun Club where it will turn around. The bus then heads south on the Missing Link Rd. to the intersection of Route # 103 where it will travel north past the state police office and then make a left turn onto the Upper Bartonsville Rd. and then make another left turn onto Town Farm Rd. The bus then heads south on Route # 103 and makes a right turn onto the Pleasant Valley Rd., to Saxtons River Village and back to BFUHS on Route # 121 and Route # 5.
