Special School Board Meeting
May 26, 2009
Present: Joseph Brissette, Timothy Doherty, Michael Empey, Charlie Jarras
Also Present: Johanna Harpster; Christopher Kibbe; Robert Fisher, Attorney for Rockingham School Board
MINUTES
Charlie called the special meeting to order at 6 PM.
Reappoint Teachers for the 2009-2010 School Year: Tim Doherty moved to reappoint the Roster of Teachers for Bellows Falls Middle School, Central Elementary School and Saxtons River Elementary School for 2009-2010. Joe Brissette seconded and the motion carried. Johanna stated they will be given their contracts tomorrow.
3. Executive Session (a) Legal Matter: Mike Empey moved to go into executive session for a legal matter. Tim Doherty seconded and the motion carried.
The Board came out of executive session at 6:50 PM. Mike Empey moved to approve with regret the settlement agreement in the matter entitled Rockingham School District vs. Trumbull Construction Company and Barrett Architecture. Joe Brissette seconded and the vote was unanimous.
Adjournment: Joe Brissette moved to adjourn at 6:53 PM; Mike Empey seconded and the motion carried.
