Special School Board Meeting
May 29, 2007
Present: Russell Capron, David Clark, Stephen L. Fine, Stephen L. Fine, Paul Obuchowski, Margaret Perry, John Porter
Also Present: Johanna Harpster, Christopher Hodsden, Ryan Parkman
1. Call to Order:
The Chair, David Clark, called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
2. Adjustments to Agenda:
Request for a leave of absence, a grievance matter, and a legal matter were added to executive session.
3. Executive Session:
Paul Obuchowski moved to go into executive session at 6:04 p.m. for the purpose of discussing contract matters, a leave of absence, a grievance matter, and a legal matter, and invited the administration to attend. The motion passed unanimously.
The Chair returned the board to open session at 6:40 p.m.
Paul Obuchowski moved to approve, and authorize the Chair to sign, contracts for Assistant Principal, Athletic Director/Attendance Officer, Head Custodian and Maintenance Director, and Guidance Counselor as presented in the agenda packets. The motion passed unanimously.
Paul Obuchowski moved to grant Dr. Naitove’s leave request, without pay. The motion passed on a vote of 4/3 (Yes: Obuchowski, Major, Porter, Clark – No: Perry, Capron, Fine).

4. Adjournment:
Russ Capron moved to adjourn at 7:45 p.m. The motion passed unanimously.
